Hi All

I feel I must apologise for being awol for the last few days, but there are extenuating circumstances which I feel obliged to share with you.
In my haste and desire to arrive in plenty of time for Cheryls birthday bash, I decided to set off last Thursday. To save the fare to Southampton, I thought I'd get myself over to London docks to seek out an old merchant ship Stateside bound. Well, I'm enjoying a glass of Captain Morgans in a rather run down dockside drinking establishment when a particularly smelly bearded old sea dog engaged me in conversation. I explained I was looking for passage to New York and that payment would be unlimited use of my blow up doll for the duration. Well guess what ?!, It only transpires that he was the captain of exactly such a vessel, sailing that very night and he would be delighted to have me on board. After a few more large rums he smuggled me onto said vessel and showed me to my accommodation in the hold. I thought to myself 'How lucky am I !'
It started to go wrong when I realised I had forgot to pack the blow up doll. The crew members didn't seem at all dissapointed when I informed them of this oversight, and suggested with a glint in their eyes that I would be a more than adequate substitute. Well, during the next 5 days I was subjected to the most unbelievably depraved and disgusting acts thet I had only ever previously witnessed on the videos I buy regularly from that PC in the vice squad.
On Tuesday morning, the hatch to the hold opened and I was invited to make my way on deck. With the excitement building I did just that, expecting to see the spectacular New York skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Ferry etc etc.Instead I am greeted with views of Canary Wharf and the Millennium Dome.
Seems I had just spent 5 days on the Woolwich Fery !!.

So Cheryl, as hard as I try it appears I am not destined to be attending your birthday celebrations later this month. I hope you will not be too disappointed and that you can still enjoy, albeit to a much lesser degree, your special day.

That's quite possibly the best comment ever.
Glad to see that they let you go in the end!

And possibly the longest comment ever!
Did it take you all day to write that essay?

Hi Charbs

Not long, about 20 mins. Once it starts flowing it just rolls off the tonge. (which takes me back to my experiences on the Woolwich Ferry !!!.)

:P

LOL

R,

I just hope you can walk! It doesn't sound like you minded it too much and that scares me a bit.

No one has ever gone to such lengths as to make it to me on my birthday, so indeed I will drink to that story and share it w/ all who share that day w/ me.

I will be sending you a blow up doll in the mail for your bday. Just so one of these incidents NEVER happens again.

Thank you for your efforts and your kind words.

You were missed. Great story, so vivid, I can tell it may have scarred you for life.

Ps. When is your bday?

Charbs,

"Glad to see that they let you go in the end"

When I read this I thought to myself....No pun intended. LOL

: )
