Bah.
Worst test ever. It went wrong as soon as I got in the car and the examiner told me there was nothing to get nervous at!

I didnt realise my shaking was that obvious!
He kept making me stop and take deep breaths to try and calm down after I'd stalled it for the 2nd time, he couldn't believe that this was my 9th test (counting the puncture) and I couldn't believe that I was such a wreck considering that my pre-test drive had been faultless.

Oh Well, there's always another one!

I thumb my nose in your general direction R. There's nothing wrong with my driving, its the examiners that make me nervous.

Keep trying. I bet though that the longer it takes the more nervous you get. I know that this is going to come off sounding very Californian - but I know people who've really been helped by hypnotherapy when it comes to tests. It's just another way of calming down. Just a thought.

Charbs

Let's face it girl, put this one to bed and find yourself something else that you may just be a little more competant at.

Some things are just not meant to be. 9 failures !!. You don't have to have a masters in statistics to see a pattern developing here. When you get behind a wheel you're obviously a menace to society not to mention the poor driving examiner who pulls your name out if the hat each time.
9 failures is nothing to be too ashamed about, plenty of women fail that many times.
Look at it this way, God gave some women the ability have multiple orgasms, well he also gave them the ability to have multiple driving test failures. Swings and roundabouts !

Ok.
1 - I got a puncture in one test so technically that dont count.
2 - Another time a kid ran out to the traffic lights and I thought he was going to run out so I stopped, admittedly stopping on a dual carriageway is bad but there you go.
on another a car jumped red lights and I had to make an emergancy stop so I don't think those 3 were really my fault.
The others have been accidents where I've been so nervous I've done stupid things like mount the curb on reverse corners and stalling lots like yesterdays debacle, normally my drivings fine!

Oh! And most women I know pass sooner than men I know.

I think someone's just a little jealous about the multiple orgasms thing.
