Afternoon Charbs

The skates are on but i've no idea what to do now. I would send you an amusing little gift but those old sticklers for detail at the Post Office insist on a name and address.
Should I just send it to
'Tidy Arsed Charbs
London'
and hope the post Office people are aware of the world wide reputation that your Arse commands.

Send it to: Tidy arsed Charbs.
Blackheath.
London
Then I'm sure it'll find me!

Sorry Charbs

Your question re: Charlton.

I'm cautiously optimistic that the new players will make us a better team. Whether Curbs plays them or not, or even in the right formation, i have no idea. I'm not a fan of our managers team selection or tactics.
The first 2 games , against promoted clubs will tell us a lot about the managers plans to the season.

I'm fairly optimistic about the new season, but I know what you mean about his sometimes questionable tactics. Either way I can't wait! Are you going to the game on Wednesday?

Anonymous said...

I'm not going on Wednesday.
I'll let you into a little more personal detail. I no longer live in London, and the only games (with rare excetptions) I go to are some of the away games in the North or Midlands.

Ah-ha!
So I'm getting closer to tracking you down then!

Higher up than Sheffield?

A little

Hi, Remember me R?

I have a rather nice arse too. lol.

Hi Cheryl

Is a tidy arse a pre-requisite for all the female (and male ?!?) bloggers.
Anyway, I know my place. The only person entitled to inspect the bloggers arses personally is our Sovereign, King Flash.(doffs cap)

If I ever get over to watch the Bills Cheryl, we can meet up and play 'You show me yours and i'll show you mine'

R

Charby said...

Hehehehehe. Didn't you know R, you're only allowed to comment if you have a nice arse?
Is that a little as in Yes but I don't want you to know that or yes as in Yes, we're only a little way from Australia?

Anonymous said...

Geographically I think is is slightly north of Sheffield.
AND I DON'T MEAN BARNSLEY.

R

Anonymous said...

ok R, you first though. And I might not ask for the arse!

Yikes.

Charby said...

Bugger, Barnsley was gonna be my next guess.
Are we based in the Yorkshire area or higher than that?

Anonymous said...

Charbs

No and No

Get the map out !.

Cheryl

Me Neither !!.

Charby said...

Rotherham?!

Anonymous said...

Question
Are we based in the Yorkshire area?

Answer NO,

So you come up with Rotherham !!.

I'm signing off now, but I expect a geographically more accurate guess when I return

Nighty night

R

Charby said...

Ooops!
There was a reason I dropped geography as soon as I could!

So what's after that? the Middlesborough area?

Bye bye R.

HistoryGeek said...

Hmmm....not so sure about my arse, I'm told some people like it quite a bit. It seems a bit off-putting to others. But it's the only one I've got and I ain't giving it back.

Welcome back R.

An upcoming Charby birthday, hmmm...

Good work R, who must be from t'other side.

Morning Your Most Royal Highness.
(More doffing of cap and averting eyes.
I'm glad someone here is bright enough to realise Yorkshire doesn't extend from the North Sea to the Atlantic.
So come on Charbs, before your guesses eventually end up in
Berwick on Tweed !.

Re; your comment 't'other side'

Just like to point out - live there, don't 'Bat for'

Hello Spins

How's life in the Raider Nation ?.
Even with that detestable Randy Moss I think it's down in the basement of the AFC West this year.

Manchester!

Any closer?

Morning Charbs

Spot on with Manchester !

who helped you ?!.

R

Charby said...

I looked in my Big Book of Places and named all the cities I could think of that were not in the midlands.
I knew one of them had to be right.
I'm so clever me!

Anonymous said...

Well done, (in a patronising voice !)

I'll remember next time we play a guessing game to make it a little easier so it doesn't run into a 2 day event !.

R

Charby said...

yeah, you could have given me some more clues to help me out.

Anonymous said...

Actually... I won't make them any easier as I find your guesses/logic rather amusing.

Charbs

Lets make it a round 30 posts before I go to lunch.

Is this the record on your blog ?.

R

Charby said...

I think 30 is the record.
So now I know your in manchesterland, its a matter of narrowing it down.
Unfortunately my knowledge of Manchester is limited to the shopping centre, Bolton and Stockport....
Close?

Anonymous said...

I don't live in the shopping centre, least not yet !.
Certainly don't live in Bolton-Inbreds !
Stockport, about 6 miles from me.

Have ypou visited the 'Capital of the North'?

R

Charby said...

I've been to Stockport, Bolton and United's ground and had a quick look around the shopping centre.
My godfather lives near Hatfield, that's not far from Stockport is it?

Charby said...

or is it Hadfield?
Who knows? I know its somewhere near Stockport though!

Anonymous said...

Hatfield, near Stockport !!

PRICELESS !!!.Almost fell off the chair.

Tell me you're doing it on purpose to up the posts total !.

R

Charby said...

I told you my geographical knowledge was a bit shit.
I get lost in my own house.
Mock me all you like.

Anonymous said...

Got to go now, I'm going down the pub to tell everyone about you !!.

R

Charby said...

*Sticks her tongue out*
Like I care!
Was I right the second time with Hadfield or is that somewhere completely different too?

HistoryGeek said...

R - thanks for mentioning the Raiders. I'm sure their quite pleased with the international attention. I'm just a fan due to geographical incidence, not out of any true love of the game. I must admit, I am going to my first proper American football game in years in September...the CAL Bears (college) playing someone or other.

Anonymous said...

you don't want to go to Hadfield Charby. You'd never leave!
