There is no such thing as failure - only feedback Charby. Remember that...

Wooo hooo!!! Go Charby! Its going to be so much fun! And just think, there will be writers all over the world suffering with you:)

I am glad you decided to do it.

So, plot ideas?

I figure it's not a failure if it forces me to put words on the page...even if I don't hit some proscribed word count.

Writing a novel seems like a crazy hard thing to do. I don't think I'd be any good at writing about anything except myself. Hmmm... a fictionalized version of my own life? Would that even count as a novel? Maybe I better finish my assignments first.

Good luck though!

I have a few ideas, not sure what one i'll agree to go with though, maybe I'll extend or try to extend a short story I've already written.
You?

Don't worry about failure. Only 10% of people who attempt it actually make it. Or that's what our ML said.

I am doing a sad story about a family at Christmas. Which reminds me, can I name a neighbor after you?

I'd be honoured!

As long as I was a nice character!!!!

Yeah. Pretty nice. You're the neighbor of my MC's granmother. You put on a hell of a holiday lights display sometime in the 1980's. Its north pole themed.

How exciting! :)

When the book publishers come calling, I'm going to demand a 10% cut of any profits you make! ;-)

Alecya G said...

Ha! I'll be lucky to get 10%

LOL. Aren't you cute...

Let me know what your "name" is and I'll add you to my list of friends on my profile page. I'm under spinsterwitch.

Also, I think I may have gotten the notice that my award has arrived. What did you send that it couldn't fit in my letter box?

I guess I'll find out tomorrow a.m. It's given me an excuse to go to my fave Chinese bakery (which is close to the post office).

Its just a stupidly large envelope Spins, the post office near me doesn't seem to do small envelopes.
