Phew....
Get back from London about 5PM Sunday, in time for the boat race. Then MH suggests that I come back to York with her, and we might go Monday. At 7pm she suggests we go that night, so we pack and catch the 9:30 train to sheffield, We then have to catch the train to not-so-sunny Doncaster, we arrive about 11PM and have 40 minutes to hunt out a Chippy or takeaway so we can have tea. We arrive in York about 12:05AM
and arrive at MH's little York village about half past, where we collapse in bed.
Monday.
MH at dentist, having teeth pulled, after we take trip on bus to find Monks Cross and Jenna who I haven't seen for AGES! well New Year at least, we played in JJB on the rowing machines for a bit and catch up, then back to MH's York base and take a walk through the fields, as a Londoner I don't get the chance for this much and make the most, Later go back to Jenna's to see film.
Tuesday
Wake up late. MH at doctors learning her knees fate (Going to become a designer knee)
Take trip to Clifton Moor where once what seems like a lifetime ago (well nearly a year) me and CL drove to Tesco to collect 2 of Jennas mates to drive them back to Derby to surprise him for his birthday.
MH's B'day, so a old friend of MH appears, we go bowling and then for a drink, having not eaten a great deal since Xmas really, I'm feeling very light-headed after 3 bottles.
Later walk down to find Jenna and stop off for another drink, and discuss the latest footy news.
Go to takeaway and then to watch film at Jenna's.

Today
Just got back from York, feeling very guilty at not having done any work, gonna have a bath and chill, then go Friary to watch the England Friendly.
Is it wrong to hope that P*rk*r doesnt play??!!

MH brought me Audrey Rose off of Ebay. Hehe, that makes us equal her having paid me a SWFC V Grimsby ticket for next saturday and a video for a ticket to Man U.
Eating cold Chinese (YUMMY!) and thinking over the shocking game I witnessed today. Guessing its time to wave bye-bye to the always vague hope of Champs league, I hope we might still scrape UEFA but thinking that we still have to play Man U and Liverpool away, only the world's most optimistic optimist would say we can make it.
After the little funeral this morning, we watched Leeds get annihilated 4-1 by Birmingham. Then making the little walk down to The Valley, noticed that the Herminator wasn't there, guessing he was still suffering from the hamstring that he went off holding ice to in the Newcastle game.
We started brightly, I thought, but I think our goal (Cole) was actually the first shot we had on target, and we scraped the post a little while after that.
Di Canio was up to his usual tricks but as Dad commented, he was struggling to get into the game.
Not so much booing this year for JLloyd Samuel, I noticed and he really knew how to wind the crowd up, rubbing it in, Mind you Di Canio was making us giggle the way he was celebrating in front of us, He's such a passionate guy.
I think Hendrie pulled Euells shorts down to his ankles and thats easily a booking and as for the goalie - Sheesh!
I think JJ should have taken the penalty but good on Jensen, for having the guts to stand up and take it.
Final Score 2-1 Villa.
Now I'm downstairs alone, Mothership and Dad having gone to bed, so I'm making the most of not having to share the computer and listening to whatever music channel I like.
A MURDER HAS BEEN COMMITTED. Not the sort of thing that will make the papers, that will interest none, except those in our house.
Charlie my gorgeous ten year old pearly-pied cockatiel was found dead by my Mothership this morning.
There was blood all round her beak and the edge of the cage.
The culprit was quickly found to be Sassy (Known as Satan by the Bro) a lutino cockatiel male and her cagemate for the past 6 years was covered in blood.
Why was this domestic abuse carried out? I have no idea but Charlie, who was silly tame and liked to ride the hoover when I was cleaning the cage and play a hundred silly little games with me was only about ten or eleven and not old enough to die of old age.
She is survived by the Murderer, a younger cousin Briar (a normal grey), and Cecil a pied male.
Also mourned by The Grey Budgie and Scram the Blue budgie
REST IN PEACE.

Back home in Blackheath now, funny how much I despise London but it will always be home. Running into Blackheath Village to help my dad carry out an errand and smiling at the common, the traffic going to Lewisham, and in the Sun In The Sands Roundabout, the ponds near where the donkey man takes the kids for rides and near the Princess of Wales pub.
Run another errand down to B&Q to help Dad and Bro carry 15 bags of ballast down to the cab and home for the wall they want to build in the front garden (A bodge job as usual) somehow I got conned into pulling the trolley with all the bags in and my bro unknown to me sat on the back and let me pull him along too, the Bastard!
Another good thing about being at home is SKY TV, watching the music Videos on TV and sports and films. Mothership and Dad seem to be addicted to AuctionWorld TV (Dodgey).
Also get to see my lickle Birdykins, only 6 of them now but they recognise me when I go home and always shout for attention.
But then you have to think of the bad sides too, to living in London, A zoology student from London will be turned down because of the postcode.
There are too many people around that I dislike from School and too many people altogether.
The noise and bustle from Central London, the commuter cattle trucks taking you up to London.
And the parents. I can't live with them ordering me about and the more I am at home now, more than ever I realise I can't go back to living at home.
Fingers crossed that somehow I can get to Sheff with MH.

Paul Lynch emailed back!
Thank you for your electronic project proposal form and supporting information from the Wildwood in Kent. To complete your project proposal submission I need a hard copy of the form signed by Karim Once you have a signed form please give it to me directly, if you cannot find me just push it under my office door - could you get this to me as soon as possible.

Thank you also for the explanation of the reasons for the delay in submission of your proposal, it certainly clarifies the situation. Obviously many of the problems you mention are serious and ongoing therefore it may be useful to also talk to Karim as the programme leader for Zoology to consider whether it would be appropriate for you to submit an ecf highlighting a potentially depressed performance which could be considered by the examination boards in the summer when looking at your assessment performance.

Bit gutted that he didnt apologise and the bastard spelt my name wrong. This irritates me more than anything, Its not hard to look and see that my name is spelt slightly unusually and to then check that they have spelt it the right way.
Such a good day. My normal full day of uni lectures (9-5) finished at half three. My presentation went ok for Entomology. I'm not going themes and Issues tomorrow, I'm leaving to get the train to London in 35 minutes to cheer on The Addicks on Saturday and unless my bro was lying to me I have tickets for me and MH to go watch us get battered against Man U. But then again seeing the way that Man U have been playing, mayber we stand a chance.
On a sadder note Mark De Bolla has transferred to Chesterfield. We met him there when Wednesday were playing and he seemed really nice and friendly.
And its now the Easter holidays, 4 weeks off and I can catch up with some of the work I lost when my computer died on me.
Yay me!!

I HATE shopping. I Do. I hate it more than anything. Today I wandered into town to find MH a b'day prezzie.
1st stop New Look, where paranonia hits me and I become convinced that all the trendies are watching me and hating me. I guess the scars from school will never heal...
Anyway, find PERFECT top for MH and then get stumped by the sizes, I am not a shopper, I do not get all these size things.
So working on the idea that MH is about the same size as me I examine the tops and work on the idea that the number 8 just looks too small and the number 14 too big so I went for the middle choice, so far, so good, its fairly harmless.
I go to get into Mr Overdraft and the helpful assistant demands to see my New Look card.
My What? I do not go into New Look at all if I can help it, I do NOT need a New Look card.
"Are you sure you dont want one? It'll save you money..."
"MONEY?" It now has my full attention but I still do not really want one, I have HMV, MVC, Vigin cards that I never need. The only one I use is my WHSmiths card (God bless it!)
She explains it to me and it sounds like my Smiths card. So i figure its best to humour her, maths is not my strongest point and I try to ignore anything that has to do with numbers and indeed most of it goes over my head as I do not understand.
Anyway Helpful Assistant has talked me into it, so I agree to spend ten minutes filling in long complicated form.
I then discover that it is a form of credit card (I think...) and I have a £150 spending limit on it. Now I'm seriously confused, but I can pay it off at my Bank so as soon as I do get it i'm cutting the damn thing up and forgetting it.
So slightly baffled I continue, stopping off at the Toy Shop to see if they have anything cool in and the price of their LOTR3 Toys. (My new plan for riches when I am older is to collect all the toys and sell them on EBay for a million quid)
Next stop Clintons, dodging all the slow walking grannies and Granddads and Pushchair Brigade, that always seem intent on either walking two abreast, very, very slowly so you can not overtake OR and worse, they like to ram the pushchair into your ankles and then look at you like it is your fault.
Clintons nice and easy, I am NOT MH, I do not look for the card with a nice picture, nice words, I collect the first card that makes me giggle.
Only I have timed my adventure wrongly, The evil SchoolBrats are out for lunch and roaming The centre, looking for places to have fags, for pockets to pick (OK, maybe London bias sneaking in here) but again, linking arms and walking seven abreast, "AARRGGHHH!"
Feeling very frustrated and pissed off I hastily collect wrapping paper, investigate prices of LOTR3 toys in Woolies and decide that the ASDA ones are better value and retreat home.
Now I have to really get my arse in gear and sort out Entomology presentation and consider dinner, also feeling very tired.
Last night I decided to find out what the films were that have been bugging me for years, so from 8PM to 1AM I surfed the web and discovered that vague film memory number one (recarnated girl, had bad nightmares, died) was actually a film called "Audrey Rose" (Will be buying off of Amazon as soon as New Loan arrives.) The second film I had vague memories off was a lost girl being helped by a kangaroo, they sang lots of songs and was chased by a scary thing (Or something that was scary to a 6 yr old as I was at the time. This film is also awaiting My New Loan in order to be purchased and was called "Dot and The kangaroo Now just to prove that my loan does not entirely go on dodgey 80's movies, my train tickets arrived today. I am now allowed to go home tomorrow (Missing Themes and Issues in Biosciences!! Whooo!) and watch Charlton on Saturday, of course I will be back in Derby by Sunday as I am using the Easter holidays as a chance to catch up with all the work I lost when my bitch computer died on me, with all my notes and essays on.
Ah well, better stop talking bout work and get on with it...

Home alone tonight, MH in York getting teeth sorted. CL is at UDBF's and im home alone, I've had a nice long hot bath, recovering from riding (Oh my aching butt bones!)
I should be doing something contructive.. instead I'm writing the novel that will make me a millionaire Today The Mothership and The Father discovered that trains to sheffield in the middle of the night are not very common and I will be stuck in the train station alone for several hours and possibly not get home to Derby till 5AM, this led to them threatening not to get my CAFC tickets to Man Utd!!!
However I quickly fixed if by pretending I was going with CL and CL has a car. (Clever I thought!)
as I knew they were going to hold that against getting me a ticket and being in Derby means they would not get me one.
However Dad wanted to use Valley Gold in order to get me and MH tickets and was going to "borrow" Granddads one. But Favourite Uncle No. 2 had got there first and now we dont know if we can get one ticket with Valley Gold and one without on the same day.
Otherwise we will have to wait till tickets go on general sale and as only 2000 are on sale, I doubt very much that we will get any and will have to miss out on that thrashing!
So fingers crossed for Thursday and I will update, hopefully!
Still no email from PL, starting to feel a little disappointed that he's too ashamed to reply.
Went riding this morning, it was cool, rode an old flea-bitten grey Arab - Chelsea and CL had a dark bay cob called P.J.
Came back with extremely sore arse and legs, due to being forced into unnatural (for me) riding positions. I happen to like riding with stupidly short stirrups ok?!
Came back and now just back from a driving lesson, I think its starting to get better and fingers crossed I'll pass the test.
Meanwhile in the land of Football where Charlton do not exist....
Alan Shearer rules out the challenge from Birmingham, Villa and Charlton. "It's between Liverpool and us, and I don't want it to go to the last game
Why do they think we won't keep it up, we've been 4th or there abouts since November and now Judas (P*rk*r) has gone they think we wont keep it up.
GGRRR. Its things like that, that make me wish more than ever that we do finish 4th, even if I know we'll be knocked out in the 1st qualifying round of the Champ league by some overweight pub team from Switzerland.

I had the maddest dream last night and only the song thats playing on the radio now has reminded me of it. (Its Blue's Breathe Easy, they are shit and apparently that Lee lives in Blackheath in Nelson Mandela Way?) anyway, this morning when my alarm went off, I got out of bed, and started dressing for uni, getting clothes off of the radiator (Handy trick for warming them up, if your house is cold like ours is) I put on my blue "Paws Off" socks and then tried to put on another white pair of socks on over them, I remember that they were very hard to put over the other pair, but then the Joma logo was revealed and I realised that they were my brothers socks.
I woke up then and the Breathe Easy song was just finishing. Now I had this huge sense that I should be dressed and it felt very Deja Vue to be getting my socks and putting them on. Love to know what that is supposed to mean. An obsessive love of funky socks?
Bizarre, still I guess its better than the helicopter dreams that were a a little freaky.
I couldn't help but giggle at this, round of applause for the mystery dude!
"HOW times change for once-mighty Manchester United. When their Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo clocked a civilian obviously recognising him while out shopping last week, he completed his purchases, then strode outside ready for the inevitable autograph-signing session. Alas, the man in question was nowhere to be seen.

But he had kindly left a huge cardboard sign reading '4-1' on the windscreen of Ronnie's new sports car."
Still not been brave enough to look, will wait till MH comes home, been busy trying to put a powerpoint presentation together for entomology about butterflies. Its boring me slightly, might call it a day for now, if I get time between riding and driving I'll do some more tomorrow, if not i guess there's still Wednesday. Mammalian reproduction again today, the guest lecturer was quite sweet and funny, and at least he wasn't from Greenwich Uni like last weeks entomology guest cricket obsessive was, I dunno who was more surprised me or him at seeing a fellow "Sarf Luundunner." (Even if he was based at Chatham)
Shit, Shit, Shit, I did it, scared stupid now of what he's going to say to me.
Vole lady has emailed me, saying she thinks that there will be no problems, Re voles, now the question is do I email Paul with snotty email?
I'm scared.

Wow I feel intellectual now, and it distracted me from work for a bit.
Current score 89/100 - 15.3.14
Ok so I'm not doing work anymore, yes I've been distracted by reading blogs, but I have sorted out my poster for mammalian reproduction and im keeping an eye on the cricket (England 102 for 2) I just saw this thing and it made me giggle, and Richard Rufus was in it so obviously it had to go in
Finally dragged myself out of bed, and am facing the prospect of all the work I need to do and the fact that Charlton have slipped to 6th, now a point behind Newcastle (cheating scum) and Liverpool.
The gales (which have been carrying on since Friday are still going strong and have blown a tile down of our roof.)
Were very strong in Stockport. Almost blowing us down, we knew that this would make conditions very difficult for football and prepared ourselves for the worst, the plan was that we get to Stockport by 12 in time to watch the Ipswich V Watford match (3-1 Ipswich), however we took a wrong turn out of the train station and found ourselves going in the wrong direction.
which meant by the time we corrected ourselves we had missed the first half, so we decided to find a SKY showing pub ready for the Charlton game afterwards, and then go to Edgeley Park; the Stockport ground.
It rained and we scurried for shelter and waited for them to open the gates, again I found myself doubting MH's sense as she was wearing a skirt but hey! Whatever rocks her world.
After hanging around for a hour they opened the gates and away we went, until Stockport scored in the 25th Minute they seemed to be doing ok, despite the bad conditions, then sadly it all went to pot. However Robbie Mustoe was playing which was cool, him being a Charlton player last season.
After the game we hung around so MH can see the players and get things signed and whatever girly efforts she wants. (Have to forgive her, its her first season of supporting Wednesday, she'll get over it.)
She saw that Jon Shaw, one of the players she fancies had been warming up and she decided we needed to get BACK into the ground so she could see him, so we said that we needed to go to the toilet and found to her excitement, the home fans toilets had mirrors! so she could fancy up her hair (sometimes I despair, really I do) having come out, we found that he had disappeared and we were there alone, having had the gates locked, we asked a steward for help and he said now it was locked we were stuck and to try the gates at the other end, so we walked past and past the players tunnel, again waaay over exciting her, found that that gate was locked and we went into the officals entrance and out to where the coach was waiting.
We waited for some of the players to come out, saying "hi" to Del Geary (who she also fancies something stupid) and Robbie Mustoe.
Before hurrying off to find a pub to watch the Charlton game in, the first pub that we had been recommended and had planned to go, was home fans only and full of singing and shouting so we went to the next pub, got there 2 mins after K.O and found Charlton 1-0 down already! The game eventually finished 3-1 to Newcastle, with Robert diving for a EXTREMELY dodgey penalty and Alan Shearer proving yet again that his whiter than white reputation is not deserved.
The pub itself was very dodgey, it had the screen in THE worst possible place, people kept walking in front of you, and ignoring you or pretending not to hear you or feel you when you asked them to move.
And then sitting right in front of you having a conversation, add to that the people openly smoking pot, made us feel that we were in an extremely dodgey pub and had me longing for our beloved Friary back in Derby.
We came out after and attacked the Somerfields to find tea and then headed back to the Train station, where we met a group of Tottenham fams coming back from the 3-0 defeat at Man U, they teased us something awful; Luke Young and Chris Perry having come from Spurs and sang lots of songs, they were a great laugh, and were trying to get to Loughborough, being unable to get back to London due to the winds stopping all trains to London.
Eventually we reached Sheffield, got the train back to Derby and walked home, in the cold and wind.
Now its Sunday dinnertime, I'm recovering from yesterday's adventures and about to start doing some uni work while the winds and gales continue outside.

Just got back from Stockport, Very, Very tired, Wednesday lost (1-0) No big shock and we lost 3-1, Shearer is a dick, lots of wind today, blew tile off roof, met nice Tottenham lads on train to Sheff, they were very funny. Going to bed as soon as I've checked CAFC website.
Night.

Good, Feesh is coming outta hospital to watch us on TV.
Another thrilling day in the land of rain and wind, due to general dreadfulness in our house, we get pretty good draughts, like the one last night, that kept blowing my door open and making me jump awake thinking that an axe maniac is ready to get me.
Woke up this morning to see gale force winds and proper rain, thats' something bout Derby, a heavy shower is exactly that, and I used to complain about the one that last 5 minutes at home! These rainstorms last a good hour and flood the roads and paths.
Was having fun in my driving lesson though, pretending to be an off road driver splashing into it all, dont think Driving Instructor was so impressed though!
Still at least it was fairly clear apart from the wind when we walked home from uni.
Still uninspired about my presentation for Ecological Entomology, I had thought about doing Insect Conservation but Alex is doing that or something same-y, so then I thought about doing parasites of the farmyard animals but apart from maggots I'm drawing a blank; so instead I've come to a new idea.
The contrast of "Pretty" Insects (E.G. Butterflies) and "Ugly" Insects (Eeerrr, Stag beetle?)
Hehe, I'm pretending to MH that her Wednesday player crush on the right back is over cos he's gay.
For some reason cos I have 2 gay mates, she thinks i have gaydar(?)
Still its fun pretending that I can tell.
Tomorrow, we're off out to Stockport to watch Ipswich V Watford then go to see Wednesday lose again to Stockport and back to the pub to watch Charlton fight it out with Newcastle for the 4th sport, and as usual, we're being written off.

Went to wednesday last night, complete with Happy Paddys day banner and shamrock on cheek, shock of all shocks, Wednesday lost again! That's 5 times I've been to see them this season and each time they've lost. I think I'm unlucky..... This is where MH and Jena sit, by the W. If u take the tour, I can see the clock that I watched last night, bored by the shocking standard of Footy and Dooleys stuff where the bloke showed us round when we went on the tour.
Got on the train about 11pm, and made the most of emptyness, by getting in 1st class, I also took some souveners cos when is the next time I'm going to get to ride in 1st class? As if they'll miss a teaspoon and wine glass?
Today there was a post uni fair in the atrium. I'd love to do some of the things they were organising, but as if I'd get the money to do the Coral Cay thing or the i-to-i turtle project in Costa Rica. Although that one might be more manageable than the latter. These things are only good if you have lots of money to spare, me and my family don't. (only £225 till I reach the overdraft and a month till a new loan cheque!). Bet they'd look good on the CV though! Sigh, I can dream, and plan and plot, maybe, just maybe.....

Near the eagle centre they had a virtual reality racing game!
So cool!
HAPPY PADDYS DAY!!!
MH is half irish so is getting very over exicted, we were up to midnight last night, decorating the outside of the house and baking green cakes.
Now i have multi coloured tinsel boppers in my hair (i wore them into town and got a few more funny looks than i normally get for wearing my CAFC shirt. {also got my first Mr Whippy 99 of the year!})
Not i have a shamrock on my cheek and gonna have the irish colours hair bobbles in as we go to Wednesday, i'll probably wear the boppers too, but obviously take them out for the match, ppl will get annoyed!
I guess if MH has any more bright ideas i'll have them too

Ok, its nice, fairly warm (for March) if I had a choice i'd be down the park, playing footy and mucking about with mates. instead i'm indoors listening to Shite FM (Heart), (Man the sooner my computer gets home i'm finding Virgin and getting some proper music, rather than this Will Young piss)
Went into uni full of good expectations, found Watson, He's gonna email me bout Nat processes, Found Jitsu Freak like I promised and lost 2-0 at pool. Then went into the learning centre with Twin P. to look for journals, but I couldnt find any, so I trudged back home and have mucked about for a bit, but now I feel I should get some work on, Last night I was up till 12:30pm and managed to get the basics down for Themes and Issues but I now need Journal articles to back it up and work from.
Wildlife conservation went ok too, I did nearly 3/4 of a page so that means only another page and quarter to go for that! may have to pootle into uni Weds, for a bit to do get some books out.
Looks like I'm off to watch Wednesday lose to AFC Bournemouth that night too, I hope Wednesday win, i've been to 4 matches this season and they've lost all of them, and i haven't forgotten Bournemouth beating us in one of the cups a few years ago...

Its so nice out, a clear, crisp night, i have my window wide open, not giving a fuck about midges or CL and UDBF moaning about the cold, they have the heating on downstairs, i hope they remember to turn it off
Its so nice, its putting me into a reflective kinda mood, the one that could easily lead to depression but its nice, I've just been looking out of my window and its made me giggle, The Sheep who lives over the road has had a curtain put up in the bathroom, this has got to be an improvement on before Xmas when we used to watch them going in and out of the bathroom and be very entertained and revolted by watching them on the toilet.
I feel kinda sleepy but in a not bothered about sleeping kinda way, I feel like i could sit down and do some work. Possibly even sort out my Themes and Issues shit, its only gotta be a page so it won't take me too long once i actually sit down and do it, but thats the issue really.
What the main shit is, is my Wildlife Conservation essay, i had most of it completed but not backed up on disc and its that kinda BS that really makes you think why bother?
Obviously i've started re-writing it, but i can't find the right kind of websites that I used before and the more I look at it, the more I wish I had known what was coming.
MH will be back from the Dentist tomorrow and hopefully if she's not feeling to sore, we're off to celebrate St Patricks day early. (her being part Irish.) Not too sure what she's planning but i think it involves dressing up and making arses of ourselves - So no change there then!
Gotta remember to go into uni tomorrow, i need to find Watson Re. the Nat processes module, that i failed and failed the retake, which means i can do it myself and pay to do it (urk)
What i dont see as far is that proper degree students get to pass 8 modules a year and this is a 1st year module and i've already passed 9 so do i really need this?
According to John Cassella I do, however when my exam results came, they said nothing about failing Nat Processes, is this Derby Uni being typically crap or shall i just ignore it?
I want to ignore it but as if i have to do the retake again i need to know by April the 3rd.
Ah Hell, im gonna do some of Themes and Issues, then if neccassary tomorrow while in Uni I can collect journals and books and it also gives me 2 days to sort out Wildlife Conservation,
Hell Jitsu Freak has come on messenger, that definately means its time to stop mucking about and do some work
Man i'm getting good at this lark, now i just need to figure out pictures and we're sorted!
Poor Robbo, i used to love watching him berate inoocent linos, running, his heart out for us, and i can still see that goal he scored for us against Man U to bring it back to 3-3 and his reaction afterwards. I wish him all the best in this new trauma
hey! i think i've just figured out how to sort the time out on this
AARRRGGHH!!!
Fish has fin damage! This is not good for the match against Newcastle on Saturday for 4th spot and champ league place. (ok we all know we aint gonna get there, but its nice to dream...) one day i'll figure out how to do links properly, untill then..
Looks like another funfilled night in our house. MH has gone back to York to see dentist early in the morning, CL and Uni Dropout Boyfriend are here, occupying most of the living room and generally making you feel so awkward, that I have retreated up to my room to play silly buggers on the net, if anyone asks i'm doing my themes and issues in bioscences coursework about the rights and wrongs of zoos. In reality i'm playing solitaire and talking to people on messenger. I think i've just agreed to go see Stonehenge with Brat over the summer, not quite sure why he wants to go there, or if he even knows where it is. Oh well, its best to humour him!
hehe, I've spent the last hour in an inspired fit of scribbling, i've been planning the revenge email i'm going to send to my I.S tutor who has unfairly been hassling me, i hope the bastard feels guilty, i'm gonna send it to him as soon as i get the email from Vole Lady. It goes as follows:

"Firstly let me apologise that it has taken this long to get my independent study proposal form finalised and allow me to explain some of the reasons behind this.1. I live in London and cannot afford to stay and carry out my independent study over the summer in Derby, so this meant emailing and visiting places in London, only one organisation replied to my email positively and this place is in Kent, a good 2 hours train ride away, from my home in London, as I do not have a car, this made getting down to visit and organise, very difficult in fitting it in between my university work.
2. Over Christmas my Granddad went into hospital for a routine knee operation, he came out just after Christmas with a lung infection and MSRA, he collapsed and spent a week fighting for life in Intensive Care before dying, this period of 3 weeks hit me extremely hard as I was very close to him, and I had only just returned from the funeral (on the Monday) before the Independent Study submission date (on the Friday).
3. My Father for the past 4 years has been suffering from Renal metastic cancer, which has also spread to his lungs, naturally this involves a great deal of worry on my part and many operations and different forms of treatment on his part. Recently while my Granddad was ill we were hit by the news that his treatment was not working and his tumour on his adrenal gland had in fact grown.
4. My housemate is diagnosed as manic depressive and is currently going through a ‘downward spiral’ as well as looking out for her,
, again this has caused a great deal of worry for her on my part.
Finally my computer recently caught a bug, meaning that I have had to re-install my hard drive and losing all the university and Independent Study work that I had not had yet backed up on disc and me having to work very hard to catch up with my notes and re-write parts of my coursework, when you add all this to the general stresses and strains of university life, I hope that you can appreciate that although I have tried to carry on without any of this affecting my university work, that sometimes it avoidably has affected it.
So my Independent Study proposal form which is not marked was placed to one side for a week or two while I caught up with everything else and tried to deal with what is going on in my life.
If you had asked me what was the reason I had not got this all completed on time I could have explained to you and got corroborating evidence, however on the two occasions when I have tried to explain all this to you, you have treated me as if I have not bothered about my Independent Study when I assure you that it has been important to me that my work did not suffer during this time, however I have had to prioritise my work and this unmarked form has had to be placed to the rear of the list.

I like this, i like what they are saying about Curbs
Listed on Blogwise
Well its been a strange few weeks, my granddad collapsed through MSRA and died, my computer containing all my uni work also decided to die and now I need to re-write everything, which i guess means staying up here over Easter to catch back up with it all, so I havent been able to write for a while but luckily MH has lent me her dyslexia freebie and I can get on with my work from that.
I have just returned from London, where i watched the Addicks take on Boro, and win, even if it looked to me like Matty Holland was trying to centre the ball, oh well, they all count!
Next week me and MH are off to Stockport to watch the once mighty Sheff Wednesday lose again and then hurry into a pub to see if the Addicks can take on Newcastle and stay 4th,
